Engine | This game is not another "Klik'n'Play/Click'n'Create/The Games Factory" game. It is a properly coded game, programmed in C++ using the DJGPP compiler. The engine features 256 colours, parallaxing background, translucency/transparency, weather effects, underwater swimming and lots of other nifty things. |
Gameplay | The one thing we have tried to do is keep the gameplay as close to the original Keens as possible. You can run, jump, and pogo. |
Weapons | Keen has since abandoned his Neural Stunner. We have 7 brand new weapons lined up for you, each with their own characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages. And not only that, for the first time, you can shoot underwater. |
Items | In addition to several new items that award points, Keen now has many powerups avalible for his use. Most powerups have many related functions, and have been designed to be a lot of fun to play around with. Some examples are a special items that increase speed, activate a special 'god mode', the 'crazy keen' powerup, and much more. In addition to the powerups and point itmes, several new health items have been added so that keen can stay healty as he treks along Isis II. |
