On this page you will find cheats to every Commander Keen game. Use them wisely, as they can take away a lot of the fun you have without them.

Commander Keen in... "Invasion Of The Vorticons"

While at the map level, pressing SHIFT and TAB will allow you to bypass a city. Whilst in a level, Press C, T and SPACE simultaneously. You will receive the pogo stick, all key cards, and lots of ray gun charges. For invinsibility, and the jump cheat, press G, O, and D simultaneously. Use the Pogo, and press CTRL to use the jump cheat.

Commander Keen in... "Goodbye Galaxy", "Aliens ate my Babysitter" and "Keen Dreams"

By pressing B, A and T simultaneously, you will get additional shots, gems, and an extra life. By pressing E, N and D simultaneously, you will save all the Gnosticenes and go directly to the end sequence. These first two cheats do not work in Commander Keen 6 or Keen Dreams. By pressing A, 2 and ENTER you will enter debug mode. Now the following keys can be pressed to cheat or gain information. Note that you don't need to enter debug mode in Commander Keen 6 and Keen Dreams though.

For Episode 4, 5 and 6 you can go into "practice" mode. Do this by typing this at the DOS promt: keen4e /tedlevel ??, keen5e /tedlevel ?? or keen6 /tedlevel ??, where ?? is the level number (see above). Practice mode will give you infinite lives to practice a certain level. The only problem with this is that if you use the control panel, you can only play paddle war or return to the game or the system locks up. Also, if you leave the level in any way (finishing it, etc) the system will lock up.

Also whilst in Debug mode, you can press F9. This acts like a "BOSS KEY". For those of you who don't know what that it, it makes the screen look as if it is in DOS, in case you are caught playing Keen at work!
